GEORGIA CAMPUS ? PCOM (Suwanee, Georgia)
Located in Gwinnett County, this campus is just 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta. It also offers state- of -the art classrooms and labs, wireless access, distance learning capabilities, extensive technology resources and a digital library. The primary focus of Georgia Campus ? PCOM is to recruit and educate students from Georgia and the surrounding states. The Georgia Campus seeks to retain graduate osteopathic physicians, scientists and other health care professionals in the Southeast and to advance the osteopathic profession to serve the health needs of the region.
PHILADELPHIA (MAIN CAMPUS)
The PCOM campus is situated on 21 acres convenient to both Center City Philadelphia and the suburbs. The two main academic buildings, Evans and Rowland Halls, are fully equipped with the most advanced instructional technology available and wireless Internet access.
BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES (GEORGIA AND PHILADELPHIA)
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES (MS)
This program is designed for college graduates who ant to extend their knowledge of the biomedical sciences as a base for further graduate or professional study or for careers in business, management, teaching, health care or research. The program provides a strong base of biomedical content in the first year, followed by a concentration in the degree candidacy year of biomedical research, forensic biology or organizational leadership in the biosciences.
CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATE STUDY: This program in Biomedical Sciences is designed for college graduates who are preparing for admission to medical or other health profession degree programs or for science careers in teaching or industry. The one year full time curriculum provides students the opportunity to complete course work in a medical school setting.
FORENSIC MEDICINE (PHILADELPHIA)
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN FORENSIC MEDICINE (MS)
This program provides working professionals with a solid foundation in the theory, concepts and principles of forensic medicine, the medico-legal and technical aspects of death scene investigations, and clinical pathology skills.
CERTIFICATE: ADVANCED GRADUATE STUDY IN FORENSIC MEDICINE: This 20 credit program will expand you knowledge and skills if you are already involved in the field of forensics. PCOM?s graduate program is one of the few in the country that focuses on the forensic aspects of both medico-legal death investigation and clinical forensics for the living. It includes an internship and leads to a certificate.
Pathway Program in Forensic Medicine: If you hold a bachelor?s degree but have no advanced training or education in the core biomedical sciences, this 14 week intensive program will prepare you for transition into PCOM?s Master of Science in Forensic Medicine program.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT STUDIES (PHILADELPHIA)
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN HEALTH SCIENCE ? PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT STUDIES (MS)
Accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, our program provides students with comprehensive academic and clinical medical education, including a 12 month clinical preceptorship.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (PHILADELPHIA)
POST DOCTORAL CERTIFICATE IN CLINICAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY AND CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY: The post-doctoral certificates in Clinical Health Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology each provide one year (16 and 19 credits respectively) of specialty training to candidate who have received a doctorate (PsyD or PhD) in clinical psychology.
DOCTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (PsyD)
PCOM?s PsyD program educates clinical psychologists to meet the individual needs of all people through cognitive and behavioral therapies and is accredited by the American Psychological Association.
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN COUNSELING AND CLINICAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY (MS)
This two year program trains mental health care providers to work in primary care settings, collaborating with the primary care physician to treat the whole person. A specialty track in addictions and offender counseling is offered.
CERTIFICATE: ADVANCED GRADUATE STUDIES IN PSYCHOLOGY (CAGS)
Students in this program complete 12 master?s level credits to earn the certificate. A master?s degree in psychology, counseling or a related discipline is required to enroll in
CAGS.
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY (PHILADELPHIA)
DOCTORATE OF PSYCHOLOGY IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY (PsyD)
Graduates of this program will be prepared to assume all responsibilities and to demonstrate leadership in educational and mental health services for children, youth and families. Designed to build on specialist level training, this 54 credit program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to be eligible for National Certification and Pennsylvania licensure.
EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST DEGREE IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY (EdS)
This program is for master?s level professionals in the fields of education, counseling, psychology and other related professionals who wish to become a certified school psychologist.
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY (MS)
Designed for the working professional, this intensive 14month program offers a broad theoretical and practical background in school psychology, child development, learning and research.
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP (PHILADELPHIA)
