Aeronautics

Students who have an interest in the study, design and manufacturing of aircraft can pursue a graduate degree in the aeronautics field. Programs vary by school, but areas of focus can include aerospace atmospheric science, aircraft engineering, as well as aviation science and administration. These interdisciplinary tracks require students to combine knowledge of mathematical and scientific principles with technical knowledge of air and spacecraft, as well as the business aspects of the aviation industry. A graduate degree in Aeronautics may allow air traffic control personnel, flight operations specialists and other aviation professionals to advance their careers.
