    Graduate Studies at Monmouth University provides high-quality master's degree and certificate programs to students seeking to increase their professional skills and enhance their intellectual development. The University offers an online Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Monmouth has a current graduate enrollment of more than 1,600 students. Every program curriculum aims to improve students' leadership qualities and prepare them for career advancement, career changes, or further study. Graduate students have chances to advance their knowledge and engage in scholarly research with Monmouth's faculty members, who provide a distinctly challenging classroom environment and also serve as mentors and advisors. Small classes allow for individual attention and strong student-faculty dialogue.     In an effort to provide flexibility, some programs are delivered completely online while other courses of study offer hybrid classes that utilize a combination of traditional, face-to-face classroom time blended with online classes and assignments. These classes usually meet in-person on alternate weeks. Monmouth University's 159-acre campus is located in a convenient, safe, suburban area one mile from the Atlantic Ocean. The campus is approximately one hour from New York City which can be accessed by train or bus service. The University's proximity to high-technology firms, financial institutions, and a thriving business-industrial sector provides Monmouth students and graduates with varied employment opportunities. Monmouth's Graduate Admission Office assists students throughout the enrollment process. The University also has a variety of financial aid options, including scholarships, which provide scholarship assistance to students pursuing most programs who have demonstrated academic achievement in the completion of their baccalaureate degrees. Some graduate assistantships are also available including teaching and research assistantships.
