Mount St. Joseph University

Andrew Hoelmer, Assistant Director for Graduate Admission,

Mount St. Joseph University is a Catholic academic community grounded in the spiritual values and vision of its founders, the Sisters of Charity. The University educates its students through interdisciplinary liberal arts and professional curricula emphasizing values, integrity and social responsibility. The Mount’s Hallmark has always been smaller class sizes and personalized attention for all its undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, along with a commitment to preparing students who are career-ready and leadership-focused.

Serving more than 700 graduate students, the Mount's advanced degree programs specialize in the cultivation of leadership skills in business, depth in ministry, and expertise in the teaching and health professions.
Graduate degree programs include: education, religious studies, organizational leadership, business administration, nursing, a doctor of nursing practice in health systems leadership and a doctor of physical therapy degree. The Mount offers a Saturday MBA and a Saturday Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program designed for working professionals to take classes on Saturday mornings at the Mount to earn their master’s degree in about two years.

In addition to its graduate programs, the Mount offers more than 45 undergraduate degree programs. Small class sizes encourage individualized learning, and students have opportunities for career experience, leadership development, service learning, and participation in a wide variety of activities. The Mount's scenic campus overlooking the Ohio River is a 15-minute drive away from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, a cosmopolitan Midwestern city.

Masters in Business MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) SATURDAY The Saturday MBA is primarily for professionals with several years of experience in the workplace. Courses are taught on Saturday mornings. Degree requirements can be completed in just over two years. The MBA curriculum (36 credit hours) challenges you to strengthen and apply your knowledge in core business areas: managerial finance, accounting, economics, and marketing. Small class sizes also allow you to hone your interpersonal, team and group communication skills and to work one-on-one with expert faculty. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) 4+1 degree gives Mount undergraduate students the opportunity to earn an MBA with one additional year of graduate study.
