If you’re searching for the right place to prepare—academically and professionally—for success in your future, you’ll find it at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Palmer will help you turn your passion for helping others into a successful career. As the first and largest chiropractic college, Palmer has more successful graduates than any other institution.

Palmer College of Chiropractic prepares its graduates for vital, satisfying careers where you can help create the healthy communities of tomorrow, one patient at a time. Palmer College has one of the lowest student-loan default rates of all graduate schools in the nation. This is a strong indicator of the success of its graduates.

    Palmer: The Trusted Leader
Palmer is the founding college of chiropractic, and today Palmer is the largest and most highly-regarded chiropractic institution in the world. Palmer is known as The Trusted Leader in Chiropractic Education® and also leads the world in chiropractic research. More than one-third of practicing chiropractors in the world are Palmer graduates.

The Palmer experience offers a wide range of real-world, hands-on learning opportunities. Palmer students take part in our world-renowned Sports Council Program providing care to athletes at all levels. Students also provide care to low-income populations at community clinics and treat active duty military personnel, veterans and their families at our campus clinics. Palmer students also have the opportunity to participate as investigators in active research studies on all three campuses.

With two campuses in Davenport, Iowa, and in Port Orange, Fla., the college is home to the world’s largest chiropractic library, the largest chiropractic student body, and the largest chiropractic research program. Palmer faculty also lead the profession, authoring the textbooks used in many chiropractic schools and producing much of the scientific articles on chiropractic.

    Chiropractic and You
Palmer’s Doctor of Chiropractic students are trained to think like doctors from day one. In your first year, you’ll study anatomy, physiology, neurology, diagnosis, chemistry, pathology and bacteriology. In your second year, you’ll take classes in chiropractic technique, x-ray, and practice management. During your third year, you’ll dedicate your time to patient care in an outpatient clinic setting and preparation for your life after graduation.

In addition to rigorous academic and clinical preparation, Palmer prepares students to be business leaders. The Palmer Center for Business Development provides a wide range of business training and networking opportunities for both students and alumni on all three campuses.
