FDUs Master of Health Science (M.H.S.) program offered at the Universitys Florham Campus in Madison, New Jersey is designed to respond to the growing demand for educated and highly skilled professionals in the pharmaceutical industry, health care delivery and health science-related fields. Students who enroll in this program can choose from four study tracks to meet their particular career interests and professional goals.
The Gateway to Professional Studies (GPS), a one-year intensive program featuring a biomedical curriculum, prepares students to apply to medical, dental, pharmacy or veterinary school, as well as to other health carerelated professional schools including chiropractic, podiatric or physical therapy programs of study.
Offered in blended online and face-to-face classes, this track helps students build their application credentials and prepare for academic success in the challenging professional school environment. Other features of the program include:
Builds knowledge and training in biochemistry, pharmacology, histology, and anatomy and physiology, and develops communication skills.
Studies include a 10-credit core that explores the legal, ethical, management and public health issues confronting all aspects of health care.
Students receive highly personalized support in applying to professional schools, including individualized help in developing the application and preparing for the interview.
Admissions requirements for the GPS include a baccalaureate degree in a major in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy or a related field, as well as completion of traditional pre-medical coursework at the undergraduate level.

FDUs M.A. in Student Services Administration fulfills the growing need for an administrative leadership program in higher education. It is designed for students pursuing a career working in administrative and student support services in colleges and universities.
Offered through FDUs School of Administrative Science of the Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies, the program provides a strong foundation in college student services, including student activities, financial aid, admissions, residence life, intercollegiate athletics, student judicial affairs, clubs and organizations, and student affairs. It trains students to be critical thinkers, effective communicators and respected decision-makers and leaders with an in-depth understanding of current issues in higher education.
Students have the option of specializing in one of four areas: admissions and financial aid administration, intercollegiate sports administration, institutional risks administration and on-campus student administration. Designed for working professionals, the program offers primarily online classes combined with some evening, weekend and instructional video class meetings.
The M.A. in Student Services Administration is a 36-credit, non-thesis program requiring completion of 18 credits of core courses, including a three-credit Student Services internship, plus 18 credits in elective coursework.
Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree program with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
