Art: Fine & Applied

Creative students who wish to enhance their chances of professionally succeeding in the artistic field of their choosing can enroll in a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree program. Schools provide a wide variety of MFA programs including: creative writing, photography, illustration, interior, industrial design, and graphic design. To gain entry into these graduate programs, applicants typically have to provide a portfolio of their work and talents. Career opportunities following the completion of these tracks depend on a graduate’s particular focus area. For example, graduates with an MFA in Theater can go on to work as an actor, director or educator.
