Architecture & Related Programs

A Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree program provides students with an opportunity to expand on the architectural knowledge that they acquired at the undergraduate level. Graduate programs in this subject tend to be interdisciplinary and focus on the theories and methods that are used to design, create and alter internal and external spaces. The Architectural Registration Exam is required for licensure. Students who complete either an undergraduate degree in architecture or a M.Arch are qualified to take this exam. The M.Arch degree typically takes between one and three and a half years to complete and can lead to a career as a professional architect or a teacher at the postsecondary level.
